I have a ton of old baby things, even a bunch of used stuff that was given to us when we thought we were having a boy. Anywho I threw it all in a room but the room is getting overran. Its all thrown in there. I was trying to save it to have a garage sale but now i'm thinking of just giving it away. Any advice?

Can you post in on craigslist or something? I know about all the "stuff" taking over. I want it out the second ds is done with it!

If you're not set on selling it, maybe you could find a local woman's shelter who could use the donation?

If the items are in good shape I would take it to a consignment shop if you have one nearby, otherwise I'd bring it to Goodwill and take the tax credit :)

I posted this about the "old clothes" topic, too....we are saving ours for a children's consignment that happens 2x a year. There are others in our area that happen 1x or 2x depending on the organization that runs it. You (the consignor) work 2 days (it's open for 2 weeks) and they get roughly 8% of the profits. You can sell almost anything from pregnancy to 12 years old in size/function, but it's mostly catered to infants to 5 years old. There are GREAT deals on good quality stuff, yet the consignor can sell their stuff for a decent price. Each consignment is REALLY popular among moms all over the northern state (we're in Alabama), yet I never knew about these kinds of consignments until I was pregnant. Maybe try searching the web for something like this in your area??
