Yeah, it's a pain.  My mother had to call around to get a count after my RSVP due-date had passed.

Or...just rules of etiquette period!!  When I sent out the invites I had to follow-up with phone calls to get a head count for the caterer.  I think most people feel that you should have plenty of food and do not realize depending on whether it's per plate or buffet style it still cost $$$$.  Hmph!!!...I bet if we said there would be a cover charge; they would respond.

Oh...and what about the married vs. single guest.  It is not proper to invite someone along as a date if you are not part of a couple or if the invitation has the invitee's name only.  I had a few of my single male friends and ladies who had the nerve to show up with the flavors of the minute.  Help us Lawd!

No they don't! I had about 5 folks that crashed the wedding. One coworker that didn't show that still hasn't said anything about not coming. And two people friggin text me on my wedding day talking about they can't make it! I was ready to fight!

Girlkin, I'm taking off my earrings and grabbing the vaseline, because I'm ready to fight with you. Who in the hell texts a bride on her wedding day???? The nerve of people crashing a wedding. Sometime I just have to SMH....

Haha, girl yes...I was furious and check this out one of them pretty much invited her damn self. Unfortunately she is my tenant so I can't just stop talkin to her azz. I thought that was completely unacceptable.
