Anyone know of a good website for ordering dresses online?

Anyone ordered one online?  If so, how was your experience?

Thanks.

I wouldn't have worried about ordering online as long as I could try the same dress on in person at a local dress shop and as long as they have a clear return policy. I personally didn't order mine online but those are my thoughts about it. HTH

I got mine from www.QuickGowns.com and highly recommend them.  They have a great return policy, are fast, helpful and best of all...affordable!

I was between sizes, according to their chart, so I called them and they advised me.  They also assured me that if it was the wrong fit or whatever, I could return it (within 5 days and with a call to them).  It was fantastic!

I wonder if there's a reputable site that also sells used gowns and would buy back their gown after the wedding?? I'm just wondering (not sure why)...

Lee Philip Bridals has a very good reputation and their prices are great.  Bridesmaid dresses $230 in store, $147 from Lee Philips.  Pronovias Bridal Gown $1250, $760 from Lee Philips.  Decided on different wedding gown and got a great price so did not order from Lee Philips.  Bridesmaid dresses are ordered and are waiting for them to come in.

I am ordering mine from peridress.com there are mixed reviews but I have tried to contact almost every person that left reviews on the sites and the woman that were happy with their dresses sent me pictures of the dress on them when it was delivered. Everything looked legit and the dresses look like the pictures so I decided to go with them. When I tried to contact the woman that left horror stories about their dresses they said they didn't have any pictures of the "damage" and "horrible" dress they received.

My dress should be here on DEC 5th and I will post all about it :)

I haven't ordered yet and everyone keeps yelling at me how I'm cutting it close (7 months) :P I have been researching a lot and have heard great things about:

  • www.plussizebridal.com (they have regular sizes too)
  • Ebay has a seller (cinderella-shopI haven t ordered photo 139852-1) in China that creates a replica of a dress you want dress using your measurements.   I know a wedding planner who has seen dozens of dresses from that seller and she told me that none of the brides had complaints.
  • Of course there's always Ebay and Craigslist where might be able to buy a used dress that you fell in love with at a bridal store.

I've heard very mixed reviews about peridress and lightinthebox so I'm staying away from them just because I'm nervous about it being too much of a gamble. Also, I'd suggest going to a few bridal shops to try on gowns so you can get an idea of what you like. :)
