Hey ladies!

Hubby and I just started TTC, ,last month, but I am having a dilemma and I don't know what to make of it. I was suppose to get AF yesterday, I have been having all the symptoms, bloating, cramps as well as some yucky brownish spotting (sorry for the TMI), however yesterday comes and goes and no sign of AF, I took 4 pregnancy test and all say BFN... Why the heck is AF not showing up. Could it be that I am stressing it to much??

A number of things can cause AF to no-show.  Were you on BCP before TTC?  If so, how long have you been off?

Hello!  I was just at my dr office last week and asked about stress b/c I have been under a lot of it.  He did say it can effect some people, but not as many as you'd think. It would not be unusual for your cycle to be a couple days longer than you expect.  This happened to me when I traveled to Thailand in January - blame the 12 hour time difference and 42 hours of travel!  It is also possible you just O'd later than you expected (also can happen due to stress or illness, etc.)  and so it's not really "late" b/c you are still in the LP.   I'd say if you still get BFN for the next day or two, call your dr. and schedule a blood test.  GL!

I actually stopped BC in April and My period has always been regular. :/

Wait a few days and take another test.  It sounds positive :-)  Could be implantation bleeding. 

I misscarried this month and starting bleeding around the day I was supposed to get my period.  The HPT's were negative before I started bleeding.  I am three weeks from the first day I started bleeding and the HPT are now positive.  So, either, it took a few days during the bleeding to rise, or I am still pregnant.  Ugh. 

i stopped my bc in Feb. and I have all those same symptoms. All my tests are always BFN and when I asked my doctor about it he said it was my body adjusting after coming off the pill.

Thanks ladies for the opinions, I will take another test and do a blood test, I've under major stress before this and my period was never delayed. So I am crossing my fingers for a BFP.

Holy crap I have news.  I got my HCG levels back today and they went from 300 - 3200 in a week.  I am def. pregnant.  I work in the medical field with GYN's and not one of them has an explanation for why I got my period (normal bleeding and cramping) other than I potentially implanted late.  I got an ultrasound today even though it is really early and you could see the sac.  They have me coming back in 10 days.  Holy crap!

That is absolutely awesome emerald! A friend of mine in HS - her mom found out she was pregnant at 5 months along because she continued to have AF every month. It wasn't until she could feel the baby move that she had any idea. H&H 9 months to you!
