I ordered some hotfix rhinestones from an ebay seller.  I ordered 4 other things that day and they all arrived within 2 weeks.

I emailed them last night saying "Hi, these crystals have not arrived yet. Is there any way you could check where they might be? The four weeks was up on Tuesday and I know it's only two days later but I need them for my wedding invitations and other decorations." after reading another PWers post about trouble with a vendor and they replied saying they shipped on Oct 9th- in my original emial from them they had said they shipped on Oct 6th!

They say it's lost in the mail but just from the 2 emails I got from them I'm not getting a good feeling iykwim!

I read their ratings from other customers (AFTER I bought from them) and they're not that good...

They now want me to confirm my shipping address. What do you think?

ugh. sounds like the runaround. I guess all you can do is try to cooperate and see what happens. If it's urgent, and affordable I'd order backups.

depending on your experience with the seller so far and how urgent you need them i would either give them the benefit of the doubt, give them your email, and allow another week. or order more from somewhere else and ask the seller for a refund.

I have had this happen before, recently actually with some bracelets I bought.  Re-confirm your address and tell them you either want delivery confirmation on your shipment or you want them to email you a copy of the receipt from the post office.  This usually works, most sellers do not like to be reported to ebay.

If you paid with paypal, I would go ahead and file my dispute. You only have 45 days to file this. This identifies that you have an issue. This also gives the seller time to resolve the problem. They may be giving you the run around in an effort to get outside of those 45 days. After that, all you can do is report them to ebay and that may have a time limit.  I would still go through all the other processes of reconfirming my address, but I wouldn't wait to file the complaint.

Ditto on filing the dispute. . .but try and resolve it first with the seller.

I had a similar problem with somebody else and NEVER got a resolution.  I never got the item, Paypal wouldn't refund the money because she had a mailing confirmation (note, mailing, not delivery.  What a JOKE), and I was out the cash.

Sorry to hear you had trouble :(  DO make a 'nice' threat about having to leave a poor review if you don't receive the item. . .

Ok, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and sent my address.  This morning I check my emails and I have this message

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am so sorry, your e-mail was accidently deleted and we cannot
retrieve it, could you send us your address one more time, my
apologizes.
I dunno... I'm kinda worried that there's something up but at the same time I want my crystals danggit!
I would give them the benefit of the doubt-Give them a little more time and then try to get reimbursed through paypal.
