Opions Please

So I'm trying to order paper soon to work on my escort cards. But I'm having a hard time deciding what color the paper should be. And I'd love some opinions.

Some necessary details to help.

This is the general table set up. Brown Linens, Gold Chargers, Sage Green Napkins (there won't be the extra favors of bread plates on the table)

I've ordered Stardream Paper for the Menu's (Color Opal)

AND I'll be using Corks for the design

So... What color paper should I use for the escort cards??

Could you use the same color as the menus? I think anything off white, ivory would look pretty.

I would do the same paper as the kind you ordered for the menus! Or maybe something textured with the rough edges- you know what I mean? 

Ditto Clightner.  Ivory would be a good contrast to the brown linens.

i agree. ivory or creams would be good.

Ivory was the first thing that came to mnd as well...maybe GOLD ink for names or flourishes?

These are actually chocolate bars wrapped and labeled with names!

I would go with the same color as you ordered for your menues. I think opal will look fabulous!

those were my colors. I did chocolate pintuck linens and napkins, with white florals. Our accent color was green, and we did cork placecard holders. Here is what we did:

you can kinda see the corks and placecards - they were white paper with a green flower design matted with brown cardstock - here is an up close image:

I was goig to suggest ivory as well
