The wedding day in huntington Beach ,  downtown LA, Pacific Street in Huntington Park has TONS of dresses and I was quite impressed...i had already ordered my dress elsewhere but when i went i saw lots of nice AFFORDABLE dresses.

Mon Ami Bridal in Costa Mesa has tons of stuff too, I didn't like Mariposa because they made me wait for 40 minutes and kept telling me "we'll be right with you" and were very unattentive!!

Thanks everyone! You guys are awesome!  I just got back from visiting my parents and apparently both my mom and dad (???) both want to come too, along with my sister.  Looks like this is going to be a family affair haha... I'll let you guys know how it goes. :) Should be interesting... I'm still confused about my dad wanting to come dress shopping, but he and my mom got so excited I was like ookie sure!

I got my dress from Mary Me bridal ~ I thought they had a large selection...

Also Jinny's bridal~ but I wasn't impressed as much as everyone else (Kinda had a problem there) But they do noramlly have a great reputation, tahts why I went in the first place... Not that many dresses IMO either

La Soie- In Tustin

I forgot the other place I went to but I really liked it- darn!

I purchased my gown from A Timeless Occasion. Their prices and alterations are affordable. They carry Mori Lee, Casablanca and I think Pronovias or Lazaro in the future. They are retailers for Maggie but they're slowly phasing it out. Ask for Pat. He's very helpful. If he's busy, ask for Helen. She's his wife. Here's the link: http://www.atimelessoccasion.com/.

I also tried Karoza Designs in Glendale. Annie, the owner's daughter, is really helpful. They have a huge selection of gowns and the prices are reasonable. The alterations can be a bit expensive though.

I 100% recommend Jaclyn's Bridal in Costa Mesa...it's right next to South Coast Plaza.  They have Watters dresses there, and Mindy, the owner, is AMAZING!!! It was my first and last place to look.
