Hi Ladies,

I know it's been a while since a new post on this board but I thought I would document my dealings with Dressilyme so that any brides who are considering using them can see the whole process.

I ordered 2 days ago, this dress for our TTD, it is a copy of a dress that I have loved for years....

Hi Ladies I know photo 2572266-1

It is paid for, and already being made!  I have asked that they send me pictures of the dress before they ship it, and they emailed me and said that is not a problem at all.  I am so excited!

I will update as I hear from them and let you all know how it looks and fits when it gets here.

Anyone looking to order with either DressilyMe or Milly - please be aware of the Chinese New Year!  A  lot of the places that make the replica dresses shut down for several weeks in January/February for the New Year.  Once I realized how much time that takes, I decided to order my dress now - better safe than sorry!

Alright ladies, that was quick!  I got pictures of my dress yesterday and it was a no-go.  The dress I chose has a bit of lace that peeks out at the bottom of the dress, but the picture they sent me would have had the lace starting about mid-shin for me so I let know them that this is not good, and that I wanted the satin extended down with 4" of lace sticking out at the bottom.  Believe it or not -I had pictures of the corrected dress waiting for me this morning - and it looks perfect!

Here are the original pics which I said 'no' to - I am not sure who in the world would want this much lace at the bottom - but it's definitely not me:

And here is my fixed beauty, can't wait to see her in real life:

Alright ladies, I received my dress a week ago today.  It is really great quality, I was expecting the satin to be thin and kind of crappy and it was not at all!  The stitching was all great, and the top of the dress looked amazing and I thought it may be difficult due to all the pleats.

However, due to the dress I chose, it was way too short.  When I did my measurement of hem to hollow I did it to the top of my feet, and the lace hit perfectly.  The only problem is that the satin part started 4" up.  So, you could see my ankles and it looked ridiculous.  I'll share how ridiculous it looked...

Yeah, so be careful in your measuring, this was my own fault due to the style of the dress, I didn't even really think about how the lace would hit.  Otherwise, they do amazing work and for the price you really can't go wrong!

So, I ended up buying a TTD dress on RecycledBride.com (they have everything there, it's an awesome site!), here she is a brand new dress all for me to trash!!
