How do you keep your coupons organized?

I'm going to start clipping and saving in full force in a couple weeks (waiting until I'm home full time) and want to keep myself organized...what do you use?

I went to Micheals and bought a purse-sized coupon holder that has individual slots for different types of coupons. It's great for on-the-go shopping :) only cost about $5 and I used a 40% coupons and got it even cheaper!

I just throw all mine in an envelope, though I know that Rebecca's idea is MUCH more organized LoL.

Back in the day, I had a small folder like she describes above and I totally overthought it. I would have coups like "Tide" and file them under "T" but then others I'd file under "L" for laundry and it just became a huge mess :) Now I put them in the envelope by expiration date, so I make sure to use the front ones first. I also go through them once a week to refresh my memory on what's in there, pull expired ones and add new ones :)

I have the same as rebecca! I think I got mine at Walmart (same price I think) and it does just perfect!

I have 2 4x6ish acoridan folders that I stick all my "specific products" coupons in, it has like 7 slots and I divided the tabs up a-f, g-l and so on and stick mine in there.  I got it at the dollar store. 

I keep all of my "specific store" coupons in a smaller (section wise) accordian folder and have it divided by stores. Mine are "Haggens" "Cost Cutter" "Rite Aid" "Grocery Outlet" and "Other". I picked the top stores I shop at for those slots and kept an "Other" slot for everything else like Michaels or Jo Annes or Pet Smart since I only shop there when I need something specific. 

I also use a clear accordian plastic holder with the tabs that you can create yourself.  It fits perfectly in my bag for whenever I am out, although last year I had a really hard time remembering that it was in my purse when I went shopping.  I chalked up to me having "bride brain".  LOL. 

This year my goal is to try and use as many coupons as possible.
