Our lovely PW member Regal1981 posted about crystal chiavari chairs. They are gorgeous. Many of you loved them, so I thought I would do some research and see what companies rent these and in what areas.

Wow, $15 for an ice crystal chivari chair!  Suddenly they make $8.50 for a regular chivari chair seem almost incredibly affordable ;)

They are starting to carry these in a bunch of places in CA now.

I found in the San Francisco Bay Area:

A-1 Party Rentals (Redwood city) that they are $14 a chair.

Classic Party Rentals (Burlingame) quoted me $13.50 a chair.   They aren't cheap yet! 

Give them a year or two and the prices will go down.

They have them here in Maryland as well.  I saw them for the first time last night at a Bridal Happy Hour.
