People are so rude!

This is long, so please bare with me. I needed to vent lol.

I got home today and had a message on my myspace from the girl i had first made my updo appointment with. I'll make a long story short:

I had set up my hair appointment a good 6 months ago, but then got my hair highlighted with another girl whose work I fell in love with! I went to school with her and really enjoy going to see her for my beauty needs. Anyhow, she offered to do my hair for 25 bucks and seemed really excited about it. The first girl I booked with was 75. I did what any girl would've done and scheduled with the cheaper girl that I like.

Anyhow... the next week I called girl one back at the salon, but the phone rang and rang. I left a message on her personal voicemail telling her I hated to cancel, but had had someone else volunteer to do my hair for the wedding. I wanted to go ahead and give my appointment to anyone who may need it. I left my cell number and apologized. This was all in March.

Apparently, she doesn't check her voicemail...

Tonight, she e-mails me and says that she has me down for a hair appointment for a Monday in July and asked if that was right. For one, I'm getting married July 19th; a Saturday, not a Monday, and 2, if I had chose to stay with her, I wouldn't even have an appointment because she wrote it on the wrong day....I replied and told her I was sorry, but I had called her in March to let her know I had taken a different direction and had left a message on her voice mail. I apologized for a 2nd time....

She replied with "Well, good thing I asked..." That's it. No that's okay or anything... just a hateful one line sentence that makes me feel like crap... It's not my fault that she doesn't check her messages, but how unprofessional do you have to be because you don't want to take responsibility for your own mistakes? I thought I was nice, but apparently I pissed her off...

Just wondering, has anyone else dealt with the crappy attitudes?? Sorry, needed to vent, that made me mad lol.

Don't feel bad! I love yeahusc1's reply. That girl works for you! All these vendors work for us! We're the boss! We need to be satisfied! Its all about us!!! Can you tell I've turned into bridezilla..hahaha Seriously, nothing to worry about you have the apt with who you like and its a better choice and decision and you should feel good about it and that is all that matters :)

aawww jenn!! dont feel bad - it's not your fault! you know you left a message - it's not your fault that she forgot or didnt write it down or whatevs the reason is!!
