I am going to do some yelping, but as we know some of the reviews can be completely off base. Therefore, where did you go dress shopping? What did you think of the center city stores?

My mom is coming down in a few weeks and wants a list store stores to go to! Thanks!

I didn't go to center city for my dress jes but I did get mine at Ashley's Bridal in Warminster which is 45 minutes outside of Philly. I really liked it there and ended up getting the bridesmaid dresses and tuxes since they had a package deal.

I have been in but never bought anything from The Wedding Shoppe in Wayne.  Not too far from the city.  They are a small shop and I have always had good service when shopping there.

Here is their link;

Also, Suky Rosan in Ardmore.  Again, been there shopping but never bought anything.  Larger then The Wedding Shoppe and they have high end designer dresses.  The ladies there are very helpful.

Is there a particular designer you are looking for?

Good luck!

I think they have moved...

I went to La Bella Moda in Conshohocken and Sabrina Ann (pretty awesome wedding consignment shop) in Ardmore. La Bella Moda had a wide range of gowns and let me sift through the racks on my own. They do carry higher end stuff like Amsale but also have Marisa, Paloma Blanca, Pronovias, and others.

I'll tell you more about it when I see you on Sunday!

This isn't in Philly but try Bridal Garden in Marlton, NJ.   This place has an extensive collection of dresses... However, you're not allowed to see them.. so be prepared to tell them your price range and style(s).
