I've been trying to think of favors and I'm leaning towards a photobooth for the guests.  Anyone know of a good company that won't break the bank?

I went through three...  Thinking about it...

Both were around that $900-1000 mark...

We were set on doing it but backed out.

I, unfortunately, no longer have their info :(

BUT, I do know one was through Shutterfly :)

Here's the one my venue was going to supply:

What I love about them is they offer the "old style" photo booth as well :)

I talked to a few companies too.  I think we're still going to go through with it, but our wedding is summer 2011 and we're just getting started.  One thing to check out while you're looking, I noticed that some charged extra for a special design on your photos.  Also, I really wanted it set up before and didn't want to use it until after dinner.  Some companies were okay with that and asked for something like $35 an hour while it was sitting. Others said they'd just bring it in during dinner, which I thought would be disruptive and a little tacky while people are trying to eat right beside it.

Companies to check:

Shutterbox

Party booth express

photo booth express

I'm planning on doing more searching in the coming weeks.  I know a few photographers in the area have them too.  Unfortunately, the photographer we are going to go with does not!

Good luck!  Please keep us updated with what you find & I'll do the same. :)

one that i saw and really liked was shutterbox. they were at a bridal expo i went to and the photos came out great, the booth looked nice and it was easy to use(everything was touch screen). I also liked that u have the option of getting two prints(one for ur guestbook and one for ur guest) my mom liked it so much she said she would even paid for us to get one =]

We are getting our photobooth thru http://www.windycityphotobooths.com/

Their prices are really good and I think it looks professional! They are really nice too!

We are having the ceremony (outdoors) and reception (tented) in our 4-acre backyard in the evening, August 20, 2010. So, Im having the photobooth set up from 6-7pm, Im paying them $50 to sit from 7-8ish for the ceremony, then I have them 8pm-midnight. There is an attendant the entire night, a guestbook, color 2x6 photos (the booth prints doubles of every photo), a web gallery after the wedding, a DVD of ALL the photos, and a prop box (which I dont want). The entire price is $900.

Hope this helps!!

I really loved Shutterbox.  My fiance and I met Jen at the Bridal Show in Joliet.  We hadn't booked yet, as my fiance's deployment got pushed up a week and a half and I left the envelope with all of the paperwork on the table at my apartment when I left Ohio to see him off in San Diego.   She emailed me this week letting me know that they're offering a free upgrade for Valentine's Day, as she said she knew we were really interested and noticed that we hadn't booked yet.  We saved $175!

I like Shutterbox because the booth itself is so big!  You can get up to 10 people in it and we decided on it, ahead of saving a little money with a smaller photo booth, because we thought our friends/family would enjoy it even more!  We figured the more people in the picture, the funnier it would be. :)
