Is it worth every penny ????

I live in a small town and will have to pay for travel and possibly hotel added on to the cost or renting one ????  If you had it at your wedding....is it really worth it???

they are very fun for the guests.  if you have it in the budget i would say yes!

i was debating btwn. this and a videographer (because we didn't have the $$ to do both) and i went with the video.  i was really glad i did and it worked for us.  i would say in general that long, even receptions are great for photobooths, but if you have a shorter reception then skip it.

the photobooth is worth it if you can afford it. if you can't, then it's no biggie. you can do a diy one.

how do you make a photobooth? I really would like to have a professional one, but don't think it's gonna happen.

Not a huge deal... but our guests LOVED ours and talked about it forever so it is worth every penny but if you can't afford it then it's not going to ruin the day. I wanted to be able to get a picture of all my guests that I haven't see in a long time or that traveled very far to come see us.

you can set up an area with a backdrop, a sheet or something, and have props and maybe a polariod. badgerbride said she did one http://www.projectwedding.com/post/list/aw-our-photobooth-reception-teasers

I really wanted a photobooth at our reception, but all the places I looked into do charge quite a bit for just a couple of hours.  kblove is right that it's really fun for guests... I went to a bridal show last week where we got to try the photobooth and it was a lot of fun.  Some photographers do offer the "photobooth" option and set up somewhere in the corner for people and the photographer will take the pictures for them (sometimes they'll even supply cute accessories to wear in the photos like joke glasses or boas).

If it was in our budget, we would for sure get one.

It's totally worth the money. All of our guests LOVED it and had so much fun!! And they get to take home a favor that they will actually want to keep.
