We're looking for a photographer for our wedding with the right price and style.  We like the artsy fun style and our budget is $3,000.  Has anyone found a photographer they love and would recommend?

I'm finding it WAY difficult to find photojournalists with an artsy eye that are under $3K!!  I've started looking out of the bay area because of this.  Try Erica Berger though, I think she rocks!  Plus I heard she can tailor packages to your needs if you talk budget with her....

I love our photog Emily Main. She's based in Reno but she does lots of work in the Bay Area and doesn't charge for travel to NorCal. Her business is maybe a year or so old, so her prices are awesome. E-pics in my bio!

You might try Gloria Nunez - she was our second shooter and totally wonderful.  I believe packages start at $1500

Dorothy Hatchel - personally worked with her on a large special event and her prices are REASONABLE for the amount of services she offers. $1,500-$3,000

Steve Loewinsohn - talented up and comer. He offers 10% via Yelp and he was also featured in Rock n' Roll Bride. We met with him and really liked him and his prices. We were going to go with the basic 6-hr, solo package for $800. If you want a CD of images, it costs $400, a nice book, also additional.
