How are you ladies letting the servers know which entree your guests ordered, if you're having plated/seated dinners?  My venue told me to make it something visible on the place card...just wondering if there are any creative ideas out there....my cards are ivory and black, i was going to tie a red ribbon/bow on those who are having fish....suggestions?

We did flower punch outs and placed them on the card.  We had 3 different colors, purple-slmon, green-beef, blue-veggie.  It worked really well.

Another suggestion the venue gave me was that some people put rhinstones on the escort cards, varying the number for what they are eating.

There are also stamps out there that you can stamp on each.

cute stamps!  i was looking for those at....you guessed it....Hobby Lobby....but didn't see any!  i thought of the rhinestones too....or using some of those brad-type fasteners in the scrapbook section....
