So girls we are all on a budget for our wedding here so I was wondering are you having a planner or not? and if you are what is your budget? and how much is you panner charging you???

No planner here but me! :)

Nope no planner, but im going to school to get my degree and plan on becoming a even coordinator so this is a great thing to put im my portfolio.

We're having a D.O.C., we are paying 300.00 there will be two girls there the day of for 8 hours and they do everything! woo hoo! 

I'm REALLY hoping that we can squeeze in a coordinator at least for the day of.  Our venue probably will come with an event manager, but they are going to do the timing and things for the ceremony.  That is a headace that I hope I'm not having to worry about on my big day.  I even work with a wedding coordinator part time!  I know what kind of stress it is.

I'm weird about this wedding. I kind of want to be able to "control" what it looks like (though absolutely not in a bridezilla manner. I get as much input from FH as he wants to put in, because I want the wedding to reflect us). Personally, I just feel like a planner wouldn't get that. Plus everything's pretty low key so I don't think we'll really need one.

Yes @thrila, I am exactly the same! I know exactly how me and FI want things, and I feel as though no one can fully execute my vision except for me! So I will probably not have a planner, but it's not out of the question yet. Still trying to decide what kind of wedding/how big it will be. If the wedding becomes huge, I will have to get a DOC.

Low key wedding-- not getting a planner. Only planner is ME.

My nana's a wedding planner, so she's helping me, but I am so much of a control freak that there's no way I could hire anyone else.

That was the first thing I cut from my budget. I may eat my words later, but I think I can handle this with a little help from my fiancee and friends.
