We had a full on planner help with ours! Without her, I would have been screwed!

I don't, since my wedding was in FL, I could handle most of the things by myself, otherwise I would hire or take the wedding coordinator of the resort.

I used the on-site planner for my venue and she was incredible - I never would have made it through the day with out her!

The planner was well worth it. You really have so many other things to worry about that the smooth flow of the day should not be another one. It will really give you peace of mind. Our planner in Jamaica was a little problematic at first and so the general manager of the resort took over our wedding. HE WAS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Truly a blessing. He made sure everything was great! Not to mention he upgraded me to the Presidential Suite and upgrade my then FI to an ocean view jr. suite. He also personally drove us into the town to buy local favors for our guests. Luis Gonzalez at Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort--wonderful man!
