Hi everyone,

I just got recently engaged and live in the east coast. We want to have our wedding in SoCal (because that's where I was born and raised!) and I'm struggling to find a venue..I've been searching online and checking out various reviews and I thought I'd post something on this site to learn from this community!

I'm trying to find a venue that offers a georgeous view of LA. I'm also open to venues in OC as long as it offers a stunning view of the city and/or beaches.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!!!

Congrats and welcome to PW :o) You'll love it here! We're all here to help you!!!

You can try La Palapa, Electra cruise, Malibu West beach club-amazing! I'm getting married there, Sunset Restaurant in Malibu also there's a few places at the top under reviews. A lot of helpful information from these fabulous PW brides :o)

You should check out City Club- it's the penthouse of the Wells Fargo Building Downtown LA.  It was pretty amazing, and you can't get better views of LA!

what kind of a budget do you have for your venue? how many people are you expecting? when you say "view of the city", do you want something on the beach, downtown, in the mountains...lots of pretty views here in LA!

Congratulations on your engagement and wedding! Have you looked into the Mission Inn in Riverside, CA?  Also, check out my website if you are still looking for a photographer! Best regards!

There are so many venue options in LA and Orange County that are amazing and have beach or city views.  Like the other ladies have said it's really going to depend on your budget and how many guests.  I can make some suggestions, too.

I also know some great photographers, makeup artists, DJs and bakeries.

Hi all! Any suggestions on venues for 350-400 people?

I am just starting the planning process and even though I am a florist and have seen a number of venues I still feel lost when it comes to venues. I was born and raised in Illinois so am newer to SoCal. Any help or advice would be great! Looking for a beautiful venue- don't want the traditional venue/ballroom.

Hope you are doing ok from 3000 miles away! Must be hard- let me know if I can help! :-)
