Planning a wedding

Planning a wedding suck so bad.....these DIY type of bride, i don't know where they get the time to do it. OMG!!! it so much work !!!!! and for people that say it's fun...it's not!!!

Aw, sorry to hear you're not enjoying it as much!  Just focus on why you're doing it and maybe it'll help!!  Soldier on girl - it's all worth it.  ;)

Lol, Planning a wedding is very stressful and hard work, but trust me ...that it'll all be worth it in the end!

First - BREATHE.

All of us who have and are planning a wedding have been where you are now and it can be very frustrating.  When you find yourself feeling like this, step back from the wedding planning for a few days and then come back to it.  The supportive ladies on project wedding lending an ear, advice and ideas truly helped me with my journey.  If you NEED help in any area, please do not hesitate to ask.  Are you in the beginning stages of planning? What are you having the most difficulty with? I am gathering you want to go the DIY route but can't seem to find the time? DIY projects are a true labor of love, especially when you see the end result.

And I couldn't agree more! The process can get "extremely" stressful and overwhelming but remember that it's ALL worth it in the end. Seriously, it is...lol!

Welcome to PW! Definitely start early! And do little things whenever you can :) And ditto the other ladies!! Focus on why you are doing these things, it might make it a little more enjoyable. If all else fails, use etsy or pay somebody else to do it!! hehe ;)

It can be hard, and we all need to vent sometimes! Take it easy, and don't tackle anything you don't want to. Wile it is very important to us, we all know why we are there... To sign a piece of paper and declare our love. That's all. Everything else is bonus :)

Yes, It can be stressful and hard.  If you are not a DIY type, I am sure you know someone that is.  Maybe they can help you out with stuff.  Every chance I get, I do some DIY thing for the wedding.  Even if its, only for 10 min.

If you really dislike it, maybe if it's in your budget you should hire a wedding planner. That way you can help with the things you are interested in, and let a professional plan the rest. Not everyone loves wedding planning, and doing it yourself IS really time consuming, at at times, really frustrating! Just take it all one step at a time, and you'll be fine:) Let us know if there's anything we can help with!
