You could always add notecards with a colored border (in your color scheme) instead of pictures. Have the guests sign the cards with well wishes and add them to your guestbook.

I'm going to have a guestbook that my stepmom is making that also doubles for the wedding album (she's hand sewing the silk onto an album, super nice!) and I'm adding the cards with damask bordering to the book (even though they'll also be signing in, they may not want to leave a well wish or piece of advice). Take a look at my page and you can kind of see how I made mine. I'm sure you can buy them premade too.
