1) Did you do (or plan to do) the bouquet toss at your wedding?
2) Do you think most guests enjoy the bouquet toss?

I'll go first.

1) No.
2) I think most girls don't like the bouquet toss. In the weddings I've been to, the girls usually fight to see who gets to hide in the back.

1.) No, we are not doing a bouqet toss. Instead, we'll do an anniversary dance adn honor the couple who's been married the longest.

2.) Most of my guess are already married (aside from my young cousins and I don't think they are type who will join a bouquet toss anyway).

1) Yes.
2) I'm not sure if they enjoy it but I guess I stuck with it because it was traditional. I guess they enjoy it when someone else catches it. =)

1) No...we're not doing a bouquet toss or garter toss. Our guests are already married or partnered or under the age of 10!

2) Personally, I don't think so...it's kind of embarassing. Somehow the garter toss is less so, even though it can be more audacious (especially if the groom removed the garter with his teeth, which I have seen MORE than once!) And nowadays the bride doesn't even toss her own bouquet, but some smaller, less expensive version (a toss bouquet provided by the florist)...which in a lot of ways, kind of defeats the whole purpose!

3) Alternatives? (you didn't ask, but I am offering...)

Present the bouquet to some woman you love. At the last wedding I went to, the bride "faked" the toss (1...2...3...) and turned at gave it to her new sister-in-law, who has been dating her boyfriend for 3 years and are talking about getting engaged.

Another friend had a "break-away" bouquet and gave the smaller bunches to her grandmother (who had just celebrated their 63rd anniversary)and cousin (who had just gotten engaged the weekend before)...

1) Did you do (or plan to do) the bouquet toss at your wedding?

- No, we did not because most of our guests were married or engaged-to-be-married. The only single ladies were the younger cousins who were 15 or younger! =)

2) Do you think most guests enjoy the bouquet toss?

- If you have enough single ladies to participate, it should be fun!

I am not planning to have a bouquet toss either. I don't think there are enough single women and some are shy so it would be like pulling teeth.

For similar reasons, we're not doing a bouquet toss. We are doing an anniversary dance though. But I kinda already know who the longest married couple will be at our wedding, so I've done some research to come up with something special for her.

Garter toss would be fun... but don't know if it's really worth it since we're not doing the bouquet toss. I've left it up to FI to decide.

a)Yes, and we're calling all females, weather married or not...and surprise.. its not going to be a bouquet but several small ones with fortunes attached.
b) I hope they'll enjoy it. I heard of it but never seen it in any of our friend's wedding. Its the FI's and I's surprise.

1) We didn't do a bouquet toss.
2) People actually thanked me for not having one! But that was just my guests...
