How do you combine your culture/backgrounds on a day-to-day basis?
Since moving in w/my FI last year I notice I eat a lot less "asian" foods (mostly b/c I don't know/have the recipes my parents use). Sometimes it makes me sad b/c I feel like I'm slowly losing my Chinese heritage through food (and like many
other cultures - food is a BIG part of our background). FI also doesn't really like Chinese food that much so that part doesn't help. That said - I don't cook any Japanese or Russian food for him...so...I guess it goes both ways!
