alone? 

Some may think it's wierd...I think it's therapeutic.  Sometimes I wanna see a movie (meaning I wanna see like EVERY movie...lol) and I am the only one off from work! 

An afternoon movie is sometime just what the DR. ordered!

Your thoughts?

I go alone!  Quite often actually.  I go on my day off or when FH goes out w/out me.  I like it.  It's cheaper (duh), I don't have to share my food and I don't have to talk to anyone (FH likes to make comments during movies).

not that often, but i have gone alone a few times and enjoyed it!

I've only been to the movies TWICE by my lonesome.

I liked that I was mature enough to go alone but I felt kind of weird too!!  I would get looks like "That poor girl!"  Don't SYMPATHIZE me!!  I'm fine! :)

I will say that the last time I went by myself was when FI and I got into a huge fight... And I just needed to GET OUT... So, I went to a late show (Which I don't normally do b/c I tend to start "bobbing my head" :D) and I saw Nights at Rodanthe.

It was nice because Diane's name was ADRIENNE (my name!) and maybe it was just the emotional state I was in, but I really grasped to it...  And by the time I got out I couldn't wait for FI to get home so I can just hold him! :)

I do feel old though.. (I'm not by any means.. BUT..) I LOVE going to matinee shows with FI! :)  No one is there and it's nice to come out when it's still daylight to go shopping or grab lunch.. Sigh....  We need to do this SOON!

I go sometimes alone.  Especially if it's something I know nobody else wanted to see.  I couldn't find any one to see atonement with me.  It can be nice.  

I never saw nights in rodanthe.  My friend told me if i watch it by myself I'd probably cry. When I'm with FI I do my damndest to cry as little as possible at the movies.  haha

I wish I had time to go to the movies alone - I'd totally do it!

I did it all the time when I was a a teacher on a track system and all of my friends were working while I was off.  Now, I'm on a traditional schedule so I usually go with people but I agree that it's almost therapeutic.

I go along all the time because DH is gone for 2 weeks at a time for work, and well a girl gets bored sometimes! ;) I don't mind it, but I prefer to go with someone.

I wanted to go about a month or two ago when 'Why did I get Married too' came out. It was a day I was supposed to be free for 'me time' but wound up busy and running errands. I would go alone tho :)
