BBQ Pork.

4-5 lb pork roast

about 20 oz sprite or 7UP

You're favorite bbq sauce. I usually use a different one everytime, but sometimes we prefer Stubb's original

Put your roast in, pour the sprite or 7up over the top until almost covered. Cook on low heat for 8-10 hours until tender. Drain the juices, shred the pork roast, and dredge in bbq sauce. Put it all back into the crock pot for about 20-30 mins. Violia! Delicious.

*mhhmmm* sounds delicious! I've only used my slow cooker twice so far - but my second recipe was delicious..I made pulled pork sandwiches....I used a home made dry rub and then added a cup of BBQ sauce an hour before serving (after shredding).

I have 2.

The easiest dish in the world, that I make quite often, is 2-3 boneless/skinless chicken breasts, 1 jar of salsa, 1 can of black beans, 1 can of chicken broth. Set it to low when I leave for work and it's done when I get home.

My favorite is a ham & bean soup:

4 cans of Great Northern Beans
- 1-2 cans of water
- About 3/4 pound of thick ham (not thin deli-sliced ham), diced
- 1/2 of a red bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup scallions, chopped
- 5 cloves garlic, minced or crushed
- Salt & pepper, to taste

Put all ingredients in crockpot and cook over low heat for 8 hours (4 hours on high heat). You can mash up some of the beans before putting them in the crockpot for a thicker broth (I usually put 1 or 2 cans in the blender before starting it)
Serve with cornbread

My mom made this when I was growing up. Now I always make it for football Saturdays in the fall and for winter bonfire parties.  My friends start requesting it every September :)

Marcella shared her Sweet/Spicy Chicken wings over in Our Tuesday Crockpot club on Facebook. I made them today and they were AWESOME.

Package of chicken wings (I used the party wings about 12 wings)

Salt and pepper to taste (estimated 1/4 t of each)
1 1/2 cup favorite barbecue sauce or homemade
1/4 cup brown sugar or honey
2 teaspoons prepared mustard or spicy mustard
2 teaspoons ground cumin (optional but I like it)
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Louisiana hot sauce to taste (I use Frank's and put in about 1/4 cup)
Optional depending on your heat level:
Diced fresh Jalapeno's

Rinse chicken wings and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut off and discard wing tips, then cut each wing at the joint to make two sections. Sprinkle wing pieces with salt and pepper; place wings on a lightly oiled broiler pan.

Broil for 10 minutes on each side or until they are browned. Transfer chicken wings to crockpot.

In a bowl, combine barbecue sauce, honey, spicy mustard, cumin, Worcestershire sauce, and Louisiana sauce. Pour sauce over chicken wings. Cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours or on HIGH 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

I have 2 also

Crockpot Beef Stroganoff

2 lbs stew beef seasoned to taste

2 cans Cream of mushroom and garlic soup

1 can of golden mushroom soup

splash or 2 (1-2 tablespoons)  of Worcestershire sauce

1/2 to 3/4 cup of water

1 brick of cream cheese (sour cream can be used too I actually prefer sour cream with this recipe)

Add all ingredients (except cream cheese)  to slow cooker and mix together well ...if their isn't a little bit of liquid (if it seems thick)  add just a little bit more water

Cook on low setting for 7 hours add cream cheese right before serving

And my all time fave

Crockpot Fajitas

2 sirloin steaks

1 large jar of salsa

2 onions sliced

3 peppers sliced  I use 2 red and 1 yellow

3 packets of fajita seasoning mix (McCormick or any other brand is fine just make sure it's FAJITA seasoning and NOT taco seasoning)

Slice steak in strips and place in crockpot

shake 1/2 of a seasoning packet over meat

mix 1 packet of seasoning with 3/4 cup of water in a measuring cup and pour over meat

empty jar of salsa into crockpot as well as the rest of the seasoning left... cook on low for 5 hours and then add onions and peppers mix well and  cook for 2 more hours

serve mixture on soft tortillas with sour cream salsa , guacamole etc
