Do you see yourself staying in that role/field/career direction: NO! I want to stay at home with the kids or just find a positive work environment.

A large kitchen, front porch and a nursery.

If you own, Reality: Well, we are renovating a 230yr+ log cabin home. I love the character and we are adding all the features we love. EXCEPT the nursery, I am not allowed more children!!! (we have 4).

At what age did you think you would get married: 25

Reality: I will be 24 

How long did you imagine yourself being engaged: a couple years

Reality: a little over a year

Is your husband anything that you thought he'd be: Nope I thought I was going to have a bad husband glad it's the opposite! :)

What did you imagine yourself doing (or go to college for): Dance Teacher

Reality: Still in school going to be a school teacher not dance

Is your husband anything that you thought he'd be: He is perfect, so yes! =D I can't say I really imagined what my husband would be like before I met him.

Reality: Just under six months!

Is your husband anything that you thought he'd be: Yes, he is amazing! I always said I was going to marry a cowboy, though, which he is not! lol

What did you imagine yourself doing (or go to college for): I wanted to be a vet or photographer.

Reality: I'm a teacher's aide.

Do you see yourself staying in that role/field/career direction: Nope. I plan on becoming a stay-at-home-mom, possibly doing some photography on the side. :)

Reality: I was a daycare teacher up until 2 1/2 months ago and became a stay at home mom :)

Do you see yourself staying in that role/field/career direction: I definitely want to stay at home as long as I can ;)

If you own, Reality: we JUST bought our first house a few weeks ago (yay!) and move in about a week from now... it has a walk-in closet (!) big backyard :) but no pool -maybe one day we'll put one in.

Reality: 21 & next year when I'm 37

What did you imagine yourself doing (or go to college for): An office job - I love typing and organising!

Reality: I was a manager at a global insurance company

Do you see yourself staying in that role/field/career direction: Nope - I'm now a SAHM and will start my own business when the boys start school

If you own, Reality: We are in Canada, the house is brand new, but 3 bedrooms (which will be 4 or 5 when we develop the basement)

Is your husband anything that you thought he'd be: yes!  he is everything that I ever wanted in a guy!

What did you imagine yourself doing (or go to college for): um, i majored in information systems and I thought I would become a project manager or business analyst

Reality: web developer / software engineer

Do you see yourself staying in that role/field/career direction: i love my job, but I'll probably would want to become a manager or take a leading role in my field

Whether you own or not, what are the three things you want in your dream home: vanity, jacuzzi tub, and big kitchen island!

If you own, Reality: we have a big kitchen island!  we don't have a jacuzzi tub, but we have a big tub that fits 2 people, and unfortunately, no vanity... :/  but it's ok, it's not the end of the world for me!

Reality:  34

How long did you imagine yourself being engaged:  Never

Reality:  Almost a year

Is your husband anything that you thought he'd be:  Nope, never thought I would find anyone that I wanted to marry.

What did you imagine yourself doing (or go to college for):  I am a dual certified teacher in Special Education/General Education.

Reality:  I am currently an unemployed teacher.

Do you see yourself staying in that role/field/career direction:  I want to continue to be a teacher though I just don't know.  It is really hard to find a job right now.

Whether you own or not, what are the three things you want in your dream home:  I want lots of land (small enough to maintain though big enough to breathe),  I would love to have a basement rec room, and crown molding everywhere.

If you own, Reality:  We are currently renting, though hoping to buy soon.
