Poll: Mother/Son Dance song

Hey ladies! I need your help. DH's cousin gets married this July and his Aunt is looking for a mother/son dance song. The type of song she's searching for is a song where the lyrics are from Mom to Son not Son to Mom.

So tell me, Marrieds: what did your DH dance to with his Mom? Brides: what will your FI dance to with his Mom if you know what it is already.

DH and mom did not do their first dance because she was embarrassed to dance in front of everyone. He was so made. I don't even remember what song it was either, but it wasn't a song from mom to son. 

DH and my MIL had the funniest mother/son dance song ever. We picked "new slang" by The Shins because we knew his mom liked The Shins and that is one of their most popular songs. Its an upbeat song and they just made up a goofy dance to it on the spot - it was all very light hearted and fun. 

And the best part was she had no idea what that song was. What Shins fan doesn't know new slang?? 

I know nobody else will benefit from hearing our song choice hahaha but its still a fun story to tell

DH did dance with his mom. He picked the song himself and to this day I tear up listening to it. It was "Twenty Years Late" by Aaron Lines.... but the lyrics are son to mom in that song.

we didnt have one, but my suggestion is "My Wish" by the Rascal Flatts

My hubby and his mom danced to "My Angel" by R.Kelly and Celine Dion. It was beautiful.

While searching for a Mother/Son song for Brian & his mom to dance to, I stumbled across a song called "Song For My Son" by Mikki Vierick and I thought it was so sweet... needless to day, Brian vetoed it.  lol   But it really was a nice song.

Krosa, DH and MIL danced to My Wish - had me in tears! Such a wonderful song choice but I think his Aunt is searching for something of her own as to not duplicate. :)
