Did you get hair and makeup done at a salon? Did you have your hair and makeup people come to the hotel room? Or did you have hair and makeup done at the venue?

Just wondering because we are going to all go to the salon, and my sister asked me why I didn't have the people come to the hotel. The hair stylist said it would be easier for them to do more people's hair at once if we all head to the salon. It's fine with me (the salon is super cute and will look good in pics) I was just annoyed b/c my sister is questioning everything I do! Anywho, where did you or where are you planning on getting all pretty-fied???

I had my hair done at the salon (which is only a few minutes away from my parents' house, which is where the rest of the getting ready happened :) It was great - I know everyone at the salon, so between me, my BM, my stylist, his assistant, and the other stylists, we had a ball! We brought champagne and made mimosas, and it was like a little party!

My make up was done at the house, but that's because one of my BFF is a MUA, and he was there anyway :)

ETA - It was definitely easier getting everyone finished at the salon!

Probably going to a salon. I wonder if there is an extra cost for someone to come to you? It seems like there would be.

A lot of stylists/mua's charge travel fees for them to come to you. Im excited to get ready at the salon! Definitely a mimosa will be had :)

I had my hair done at my venue, but my venue was a bout an hour north of town and on a Friday, I didn't want to risk traffic!!!! I did have to pay a travel fee plus milage since we were so far north, but let me tell you...it was worth having everything at one place and not having to leave and go here and there!
