Poll: Weight Loss

There are alot of us on here that are wanting and needing  to lose weight. Losing weight can be very stressful and difficult.

I thought that maybe there could be a section on here for weight loss. Brides can give their love and support to each other to help lose the weight. We can also give advice on different types of diets and recipes that one could try to promote weight loss.

Basically motavating each other.

Do you think this would be a good idea, or do you think it would not be appropriate for this type of forum?

I think it is a great idea. I need some motivation, or workout buddies to get my chunky butt into shape by October (AHHHHHH!!!!)

YES! I have like 65ish days to lose my belly! Speaking of which, when do I need to go get my dress altered?

Great idea!! I just realized that although my wedding is in April...i need to be at my goal weight and have alterations at least started by the end of the year!!  The WORST possible time to try and lose weight!!

    Like I said, there is alot of us and I figured we all could benefit from love and support.

If a lot of people seem interested in my idea, I will send an e-mail to Margaret, Joe and Srini and see if they could add it.

That's a great idea - I posted alot about weight loss and everyone was very responsive and supportive.

YES! Im trying, but loosing motivation!

  My friends and I used to do WW together- and every wednesday morning we would weigh ourselves and check in with eachother, and give random support throughout the week.. We could do something similiar on here? (They all bailed on me now that its my turn to get married and its not all about them for once) haha sorry for the rant!

Anyway, let get this going just in a thread and see what happends!

Good Idea! I was planning on posting about weight loss today as a mater of fact! I recently lost 30 pounds on a special medically supervised diet...which was great. However I still have a ton to lose. I joined an all woman gym, got a trainer (2-3 times/week), do cardio on non-trainer days and have really been watching what I am eating. I have been consistently doing this for weeks now.  I am at the gym at least 5-6 days per week! And yet...THE SCALE HAS NOT CHANGED!!!! WTF???!!! So frustrated! FI says he can see a difference and that I'm more toned but my cloths don't feel any different.

I'm getting stressed b/c I need to start thinking about picking and ordering a dress, taking E-pics, taking B-pics... BUT I want to lose weight before I do any of these things.

My trainer keeps telling me not to be stressed because stress causes your body to hold on to fat. How can I not be stressed when I'm planning a wedding and working my A$$ off and yet not seeing my A$$ fall off?!!

i seem to be making up any excuse i can think of to avoid the gym...i just don't know what's wrong with me....and i know i'll me mad at myself if i look fat in my pictures....
