place to find good plus size deals?

hmmmm...  i'm a 14 -- sometimes 16 and rarely an 18 - i normally go for dresses that are a-;ine and hit me right at the knee since i'm super short too

target, nordstrom, kohls, i look everywhere!

it's wierd, but stuff at lane bryant doesnt fit me right -- i think b/c i'm so short and all my fat is in my belly area... so if i pulled a plus size pair of jeans - i am swimming in them everywhere else b/c i'm only fat in my beer and wings tummy hahahahaa

so my butt and my thighs are much much smaller - i look so wierd! hahaha

so for now - i just go for XL and i look for matte jersey dresses, jeans with lycra in them, etc...

I tend to find stuff at NY&Co, Dress Barn and Old Navy.

Oh yea. lycra in the jeans is a MUST!!! I love Dress Barn when the are having a sale, it is def not your "mom's" dresses there anymore!

I know!  Dress Barn has so much better stuff than it sounds like it would!  I'm embarrassed to go in there because it sounds so uncool, but they have some great stuff....and some awesome sales!

We have Cato stores here, and they have some good stuff.  Does everybody have those?

Lane Bryant and Fashion Bug are kind of hit-or-miss for me.  And occasionally I'll order from the Womens section on Oldnavy.com.

It's funny Laura, everytime I wear a dress from dress barn all my friends say how much they love it, when I tell them where I got it, the are blown away! Love it!

my civil ceremony dress is from dress barn! LOL! most def not your grammy's dress barn anymore!

The one time I shopped at Dress Barn (there aren't any near me) I got GREAT things at a great deal. 

Mostly I shop at Ross or Lane Bryant but only the latter when I have coupons / gift cheques and even then, I beeline for the clearance racks.  That's the only way to get REALLY great deals there.

I've heard that Old Navy has great stuff in plus sizes but I haven't been there yet.  Going to have to check it out!

For me it all depends on what stores have.  I have a problem where plus size is too big but other stores are too small.  I love Avenue for pants because thats where I'm plus size.  If I want something fun I love going to Torrid becuase they have 0 in their X sizes. I'll have to check out Ross.
