Has anyone started one or ever written one?  I've thought about it but I'm not even sure what I'd write, especially with it being so early into the whole thing.  I dont feel any different or anything like that....

I think it's a great idea! I thought about starting one but have never been any good at keeping journals and honestly the things I would write now would be, "I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired!!!" LOL

I did keepa  diary or record of events during TTC, especially during my IUI and IVF treatments.  Sorta like what you see in at the bottom of member signatures of infertility forums.  It helped to have the info ready for my doctors but I also documented experiences in short form.  I wrote down information from medication dosages and follicle sizes to things like "fought with prescription provider" and "infertility yoga with friend at the fertility center."  It's bittersweet to read back on it and see what DH and I went through in the past two years to get our BFP.  I have been continuing this writing style with my post-BFP visits with the RE and writing things down like heart rates and embryo sizes.  But I don't plan on blogging about my emotions or writing paragraph entries to describe my pregnancy.  I'm much to lazy for that.

I did one! I started it the day I did my pregnancy test. I love looking back on it now that my boys are 4, especially from the day we discovered we were expecting twins! Sometimes I'd write pages and pages, sometimes just a few lines.

I still write in it now, I used to write every month to tell them all about their development and once they were born all their progress. I write in it when 'special things' happen - like Obama being elected etc. It's great for recording all their funny little personality quirks etc - I've forgotten so much already so I can't imagine how little I'd remember when they're adults!

TBH I had thought I was going to have a girl so I would be able to give her the books when she's older....I got 2 boys who probably won't care when they're older - hopefully their future wives will like them instead!!! Lol

In retrospect, I guess sometime later I would like to do a scrapbook of sorts.  I already have pics of my embryos and two u/s pics at 6 weeks and at 7 weeks.  that's already three pics of the little bean!

Hmm......maybe I'll at least attempt one.  Even if it's just a note jotting down something from the day.  I think it'd be fun to definitely do one when they're older, like you said, and record their little personalities and all that.  You never know, your sons' future wives may LOVE those books!
