Ok, you hear all the things that can change/happen when you get pregnant.  What all "side effects" (as my DH lovingly calls them) did you get?

I got the acne (which I've never had before, even as a teen I never broke out) but like my hair didnt get all beautiful like a lot of women get, mine is greasy and oily looking.  But the weirdest/best one I have......I swear my hair isn't growing.  I can go like 2-3 days without shaving my legs, no problem.  Before I could probably shave them in the morning and at night.  It like quit growing and my eyebrows dont need plucked nearly as often.  Isn't that weird?

Well there are old wives tales that can link "side effects" with the gender of your child. But I know you're team green so I wont say anything else. lol

i noticed the same thing about my leg hair!  DH was rubbing my legs and he goes "oooh smooth"...no, i hadn't shaved in a week!  i broke out too for a few months, and my hair is super dry.

My head hair has stayed the same, I have noticed a slowing of all other hair growth :)

My fingernails grow but they aren't strong at all and honestly they are growing into weird shapes - its hard to explain.

I also feel like my butt has gone flat. Not that I had a huge rump to begin with but it was a little more shaply then it is now and I haven't gained much weight...

Eek, I'm the opposite of you girls -- hair growing like crazy everywhere (so cute - ha!)

My skin has really cleared up. I didn't really have problem skin before, but I would often get a monthly breakout with AF. I hope it stays nice after the baby is born!

I have had occasional light nosebleeds and I'm pretty stuffed up all the time, too. That part is no fun!

Ugh - I have the WORST acne right now!!  I mean, it feels like each one is connected to every nerve ending in my face.  I also have the congestion/nosebleed issue too. Interestingly, I alternate between insomnia and complete exhaustion.  Oh, and the smell of popcorn makes me want to toss my cookies - guess I won't be going to the movies anytime soon!

The congestion/nosebleed thing is driving me nuts.  I feel like I can't breathe but I"m so scared to blow my nose because I'm afraid I'll start a nosebleed by loosening all that crud up.

I have had minor breakouts not full on acne but it still frustrates me because my skin was so clear after taking accutane last year. I also have the nasal congestion on a regular basis. Bloating. Sleepy bouts. Sore/tender boobs and overnight last night it seems they became fuller/heavier and the nips are very sensitive. Oh the joys of pregnancy. It's worth it though. :)

  • Nasal congestion was my first pregnancy sign and its still here & SO ANNOYING. I was never a nasal-y person until now :(
  • I thought my acne would be MUCH worse than what I am dealing with. I certainly have had some awful days, but not nearly as bad as I was preparing myself for. I have always had problematic skin, but so far I am okay in that area (hoping they stay at bay).
  • Constipation. Oye... I have always had IBS (the constipation kind) since I was a teenager and take an RX for it too... but My God, this is just awful! I am >>>this close<<< to living off of my juicer, just so I can be somewhat 'regular'. Have I mentioned I am only 8 weeks :( I do not anticipate this getting any better.

Oh, Mar...I feel you on the constipation. I was like you, it started very early on (and continues now, at 17 weeks). I assumed from the start that it wouldn't improve, so I am trying to just deal with it. THE WORST.
