Did you, or are you planning to, preserve your bridal bouquet? Do you think it's worth it?

No. I am hoping that it will be "preserved" in the photos!

I didn't. At the end of the night, it looked kinda beat up. I took it back to Southern CA with me, with made it look even worse! It looks gorgeous in the photos, though...

Nope...I think the dress and the DH will be enough for me to keep.

Dried flowers scare me. It kind of reminds me of prom when girls hang red roses upside down, which turn black when they're dry.

I wasn't able to preserve my bouquet because it was 99% hydrangeas and by the next day, it didn't hold up anymore...

Like Lilly, I have my bouquet not preserved but dried. I would have loved to preserved it but the cost was probably the reason I didn't do it.

But the old fashioned way doesn't keep the look as nice either. I have it for now but I'm not sure if eventually, I'll throw it away.

A friend of mine sent her bouquet to a company who pressed the flowers and then arranged them to frame her wedding invitation. The whole thing was framed in a beautiful and simple oval frame. I was really impressed with how beautiful and tasteful it turned out. She had white lilies and the pressed flowers are still white, they didn't turn brown or even beige.

If anyone is interested, I'll ask her where she sent her bouquet. I might find out for myself.

Wow abattyref, that's a neat idea your friend had! I would like to do that even though I'm not having a wedding, hehe.

I did and they look gorgeous. It's not like the ones you hang upside down and they turn black. They use some kind of chemical that preserves their color etc...... Anyway, they put ours in a shadowbox with tulle from our wedding around it and my husband's boutteneer(sp?) and a wedding photo and our invitation. It looks gorgeous and was worth the money. Whoever comes to our house makes comments on how nice it is and what a wonderful keepsake. We used Nature's Beauty for our preservation. http://www.naturesbeauty.us/
As a side note: My husband thought it was a stupid thing to do and a waste of money. But after seeing it he thinks it is very nice. But he still thinks the money could be spent elsewhere.LOL!! What to guys know??!! :)
