Problem with Etsy seller round 2

WTF!!!!?????

Has Etsy gotten back with you yet? That woman is a MORON if she thinks those clutches looked anything like the picture you sent her. Of course you were willing to fork over the money for them bc she probably told you she could defintly make them look like the picutre wich clearly she cannot. I am seriously baffled at how in the world that woman has had the amount of sales she has had. Her shop is full of useless crap. I mean look at this "custom rug" that she sold:

Are you F*ing kidding me??? There is no amount of money in the world you could pay me to take that home.

Etsy has to do something. This is just NOT right. You should not have to pay for a bunch of useless POS clutches.

Dude I'm sorry...I am getting really pissed for you sitting here thinking about it. I would be livid. $190 is a lot of money. I wouldn't stop harrassing them until I got my money back.

I still haven't heard from Etsy, she's also contacted Etsy (like she said in that message). Dunno what she's got to complain about! She made crap pieces of crap and tried to sell 9 of them for $190!

I work at a clothing shop. If people buy a piece of clothing they have certain expectations ie. the stiching will be straight, the fabric is of a good quality and it looks appealling. If it doesn't fit this criteria, they get their money back (within certain terms). Just because she makes crap, doesn't mean I have to pay for the supplies!

That's horrible she is being this way!!! If you approved the fabrics then fine you approved the fabrics so I agree that if she made purses your liked except for the fabric then your bad. But her purses look like crap, they look nothing like the one you wanted. I would actually be embarrassed if I was her.  She cannot withhold funds for her hours of work because again the product is horrible. I hope etsy does something about this, I can't imagine they want someone like that representing etsy:(

I say have AnnaBanana call her for you!! Sounds like she could definitely get your money back for you...I would love to have someone like her on my side!!!! WAY TO GO AnnaBanana!! I feel you should not have to back down. I am not familiar with Etsy sites but reguardless, any retailer that advertises to give a certain quality of work should be held accountable for their products. If you are proud of your work you stand behind it and at all costs you make your customer happy..... BOTTOM LINE, END OF DISCUSSION. A happy customer is a returning customer. That's business 101!!!  She clearly knows her work is SHITE and half a$$ed and isn't willing to take the loss herself because she knows this crap will never sell to anyone with vision, so she is forcing you to take it. I mean hell she doesn't even want it... so why would you!!?? I say all of us PW'ers stand behind you and let this Esty site hear what we have to say!! I am sure she would be more than willing to give you your money back then than to face the wrath of 100's of angry brides!! LOL Good luck sweety.... and don't back down!!!

The seller contacted me last night informing me that she had been harrassed by members of PW.
As I only know what the seller has told me, I must ask if the lovely ladies here would not make any further contact with her.

I have 'resolved' the matter by telling the seller to keep my money and the clutches. I'm really upset about it all but I just can't be bothered stressing about sorting this out.

Thanks for all your support ladies but I just don't want to persue this matter anymore.

Now I have to start from square one minus $190... better checkout the 'bridesmaids gift' topics again...

I really doubt that she is being harassed - girls have probably just been going to her shop and such. I wouldn't just let it go - continue to file the complaint with etsy and paypal. The woman is trying to scam you - there is absolutely no way that she spent that amount of money on the materials and she shouldn't be allowed to keep the materials (which she can resell if she so chooses) and your money. Keep on it - I know its stressful, but she is not being honest.
