Processional Help!!!

I have seen many weddings where the BM's walk down the aisle by themselves.  I love that idea, but one of my friend's just got married recently and she had us walk down with our partners.  I was just wondering if the groomsmen are already standing up there or do they escort the mothers down the aisle.

Typically, the groom and groomsmen are escorted out behind the minister or officiant, etc...

ohhh and many times its from the side- rather then actually down the asile where the girls are walking...

BUT you can do whatever you want- its your day :)

I actually had all of the GM walk down the aisle solo as well.  My DH was up there with his best man so that he wasn't alone, but as each of his other guys (and my side) came down the aisle, they stopped and shook the groom's hand or hugged him.  It was a nice chance for each person to say a little something to the groom to help him calm down.
