Program question about "In Memory" Page.

I am including a page dedicated to loved ones that FI and I have lost over the years. I would like to include a poem, however I don't want something that will make everyone cry.. Is there such a thing as an upbeat memorial poem?  Nothing too long, just something to say they are loved, missed and thought of?

how about just what you wrote???  "you're missed, you're loved, you're in our hearts..."

Thanks!  I may do the "you're missed, you're loved, you're in our hearts". But I think I want something more. I saw a poem elsewhere called "Some People" and it was perfect as far as the wording, yet it was EXTREMELY long!!! I couldn't fit it in the space I have for the program!

yeah - and while it's def a sign of respect towards loved ones who hav passed on, this is your wedding and imo, your guests (even the ones who knew the departed) will want to celebrate you and your fh... i dunno, just my (unsolicited) op...

I know some are opposed to a "In Memory" page.  But, my DEARLY loved Grand-daddy passed away in February.  We all knew it was going to happen but we still weren't ready for that to happen. *Fighting back tears now* And I want it. But that is why I wanted something up lifting.  Maybe not exactly a "memory" poem, but something sweet about special people....

"Today we pause to remember those who left us too soon, but not before gracing us with special memories only they could create.  They have helped shape our character, mold our spirits and touch our hearts.  We know that they are with us in thought and in spirit today and always.  We love them and miss them very much."
