Hey all...
My fiancé and I were planning to get married in August 2012, but we changed our minds. We are going to wait until the following summer. Question: is it too early to purchase the dress now? I had my eye on Sottero & Midgley's Adorae (like many brides it seems!) but now I don't know what to do :(

if it's next summer- I would wait. Things change (you have 3 more seasons for the dresses to change I think) so it may be wise to wait ;)

I agree with ajbevents85. There are sooo many brides wearing Adorae this year that I feel like you might become "dis-enchanted" with it by the time your wedding comes around.

On the other hand, if you wait but still love it I'm sure you would have a ton of selection if you wanted to buy it used ;)

I agree with the other ladies.  SOOOO much can change between now and then especially in the world of wedding fashion since almost all designers come out with 2 lines each year (spring & fall), which means you have essentially 4 more lines to come out from each designer out there, which can mean thousands of dresses. 

One thing to note though- My Sottero & Midgley dress was ordered 12/27 and didn't come in until 5/19.  I found a problem with the bolero that came with it (which I think was caused from the dress shop and not the manufacturer but that is beside the point) and that took an additional 6 weeks to fix and was just notified last week that it is finally all here and ready for me.  Moral of the story- make sure to order it early, because this designer takes time in getting perfection to you :), just not this early because the last thing you want is a very expensive regret.

Plus, I htink the Adorae is so popular that I doubt is going to be discontinued anytime soon :

I bought Adorae for my July 2012 wedding... it is the dress of my dreams, so I knew no other dress could compare! Nothing wrong with ordering it too soon if you know you won't change your mind!
