Stay away from the smoke. Phew, didn't have the smoke ;)

Stay wired. Hmmm, not a bad idea... our DJ showed up 3 hours before the reception, so we were good, but still....

Prevent alcohol-induced problems. We had xx amount of wine, and when it ran out, it ran out.

Beware of cake colors.Thank God, DH was NOT into the whole cake smashing thing....yay!

Avoid allergic reactions.Yup had that :)

Map it out. Had my hair done at home :)

Protect your feet.Wore flip flops for most of the reception...

Freeze out frizz. Don't have frizzies....

Keep 'em clean. My shoes were dark colored... and it wasn't rainy out...

Get Coverage. We decided not to live in fear....

Prepare for seat snafus. Had open seating....

Order extras. Hmmm, not a bad idea either :)

Avoid flaccid flowers. yeah.... our hydrangeas were dead BEFORE the ceremony started, lol...

Back-it-up! Good idea :)

See it sparkle. We drove a new 09 bmw away.. that was clean :)

I'm knocking out two in one-I'm wearing white LEATHER converse chucks. That way, they're flats, and if they get dirty, just wipe them off! That's honestly the thing I'm most excited about. I'm only 5'3" so I've had to wear heels all of my life but I'm "putting my foot down" for my wedding day and demanding comfortable shoes!
