Bathroom Baskets

Bathroom baskets are not necessarily an essential part of wedding planning, but they’re definitely a nice touch that your wedding guests will appreciate and remember.

Sometimes the MOH brings this stuff for the bridal party...but I love the idea of having it for all of your guests! Nice touch.

I didn't hear any of my guests comment on mine and when I went to pick them up that night everything in them was stolen!!! All that was sitting there was my basket. I only put one in the ladies bathroom too. :(

I have provided these courtesy basket at parties I've thrown that were not at my home. On a few occassion I heard nothing of it, but later on down the line guests would casually mention how thoughtful it was having it. For my 30th birthday I had a bbq at a private park and the bathrooms were certainly not the MOST cleanly, so I prepared courtesy buckets on each table for the guests.. it was a bonafide sand pail with sunblock, hand sanitizer, baby wipes, cortisone cream, travel TP and lotion. the sunblock won over many of my guests since they forgot to pack.

Shortly after we hosted our engagement party at my fiancee's favorite lounge-bathrooms were perfectly clean, however I thought it was a nice touch- women's room had the usual lotion, soap, hair spray, mouth wash and dixie disposable cups, dental floss, etc.. You just never know. The one thing I forgot was the cup for the tip ( just kidding ). I made a similar one for the men's room using a more masculine color-lined basket. We got a TON of compliments for that considerate touch.

Go for it gals- it's another gesture to let your guests know that you are thinking of them every step of the way!

For my daughters wedding,I have made one for the women's washroom and one for the mens.  I am also making a separate one for the brides (bridemaids) room. I bought baskets that match her colours and also put in a little saying with it.

"So happy you are here to share in our special day,

But should something happen to go astray,

Please help yourself to the contents within,

Wet wipes, hand lotion and even aspirin.

Use only what you need and leave the rest,

It may also be useful to another guest.

Soe repair the damage that may have been done,

Then hurry on back and join the fun!"

There are several other shorter verses on the internet.

I hope everything gets used up!
