haha... yes, the balloons were a no-no.  I was surprised they even mentioned it.  They have got to be the most unpredictable decor piece.

I love love love the grass centerpieces on the picture for this - so creative and pretty!!

There is some great info in this article... and now I have a question about something! I called a reception site today and the woman told me that the Rental Fee for the room would be $950 plus 6% sales tax (which is my state's sales tax). Should they be charging me sales tax?

Definitely don't agree with using balloons as centerpieces.  Reminds me too much of a child's birthday party.

I looked into a lot of venues that charge tax on the room rental fee.  Did not know that was illegal.  Hmm...
