For those who think that metal music is out of the running for processionals, check out Apocalyptica. They do orchestral covers of Metallica songs. Very original, indeed. I'm considering the Nothing Else Matters on page six here!

Vitamin String Quartet also do some phenomenal covers

I walked to "Only Hope" by switchfoot.  I wanted to find a cellist to play it, but bluegrass is the thing where the wedding was and I didn't know any cellists in the area.
