Everything you described in your wedding is exactly how i picture mine!! Well really really close! I love the idea of the park and the yurts afterwards! You've given me soo many ideas! We too are on a tight budget. Thank you so much for posting this!! You've been a great inspiration for our big day!

Hooray for budget brides. We're also doing a park for our venue, and we're saving a bundle! Plus it's beautiful, we're looking forward to pictures by the river and a ceremony under the trees. We can have it all while still being on a budget it just takes creativity. BTW I loved the boutonnières!

Amazing job! We are getting married at a Seattle Park too- Golden Gardens which saved us some money and I believe using Larry's Smokehouse too- good find! I wanted to see who you are using for your photographer? Thanks!

I love this post. You did a great job of choosing what was most important to you, and creatively getting exactly what you need. As a photographer, I've done several wedding shoots state parks, and they always turn out beautiful and unique. Here's a shot in Monterey CA.
