I am from Chicago but my heart also belongs to long island, ny where my family is all from.  I am doing a beach themed wedding and bringing the eastcoast to Chicago.  Mostly just sand, shells, and beachy colors.  I am going to do centerpeices with a bubble vace, shells, fill with water and have a floating candle on top.  I also made a beach themed cardbox and my colors are coral and sage.  Should I do that kind of centerpeice or what other ways  can I incorporate the east coast hamptons feel to my wedding without going overboard?

Hi David, first I love your show. Second I lost my dad 7yrs ago and my mom 3yrs. I have a brother, but we're not close. I also have male cousins, but I'm not feeling them either. My sister Celeste and I are very very close and I would be honored to have her walk me down the aisle. Would that be ok? I think that honor should go to someone you, trust in every since of the word. And has, and will always stand by you. That's Celeste! HELP

David,

I love your show and watch it every chance that I get! I am forced to have a destination wedding in Greensboro, North Carolina because my fiances family does not travel. It is really not a problem but I was wondering what inexpensive tips you can give me to help to make a venue more elegant?

I know about the table linen, the floral and the lighting but are there any little nuances that I can bring out?

Hi,

I am an older (49) and heavier (street size 12-14) bride.  This is my second wedding and we have been dating for almost 10 years. My first wedding was when I was 18 and I am pretty sure my Mom did most of the planning.  I am overwhelmed by EVERYTHING!  I have the church and minister booked in my home town which is very small - but is where my support system is!  Most of our friends (like us) will be traveling 2.5 hours to the wedding.  I also have the community center booked.  My problems are mainly the DRESS and the reception.  I don't even know how it should flow - or if I need to have dancing at all.  My sister owns the local bar which is just out the back door of the reception and we will all be migrating there for karaoke after the reception.   The dress problem is that most shops don't have dresses that fit so I have to try to envision something looking good when it is 2 to 3 sizes to small.   I ordered the Martin McCrea Emma sample dress and again, I can't tell if I really like it or not since it is too small and I can't get to Arizona for fittings and such.  Originally I didn't want a big fancy fluffy dress, but now I'm so torn about it.   I just need to know what are the must have's for a reception?

Mr. Tutera,

My parents will be having their 50th wedding anniversary on November 24, 2014.  I was wondering if you have any ideas or advice to help myself and my two brothers to create a wonderful Vowel Renewal Wedding for them.

Thanks,

Hi David,

I'm Sibel! I am a junior in college in NYC. Currently, I have an internship in the financial business. I have come to realize that finance and I aren't the perfect match. I am not a "T.V" person, but when it comes to "My Fair Wedding", "Cake Boss", and "Platinum Weddings"; ADDICT! I'm currently taking a course on "Happiness", the reading assignment has lead me to believe that your passion in life is the type of work you should pursue. I'd like to wake up every morning and LOVE what's to come of my day. Therefore I am aspiring to become an event planner! Here's my question for you, how can I obtain an internship within your company?

Thank you & Regards,

Sibel K.

dear david..... LOVE YOU  AND YOUR WORK!!!! Tell me please, how do I get an internship with you. I used to have a bridal favor store in the 1990s and unfortunately because of the demise of my own marriage had to shut down.(The place belonged to us both) After seeing your creativity and imagination I knew I had to get back to being in that industry again. Please help me return to doing what made me happiest. After seeing the glow on your face I realized that when you do work that makes you feel fulfilled , it shows. I recalled feeling that way when I decorated the venues  (Of course, it was not even close to what you do!)  I miss it so much . Are you looking for interns whose dream it is to work with you?                                            &n bsp;                                                                          Syl
