So how much would you estimate that this would cost per favor?  :)

That's too much per guest.  It's a cute idea, but I was expecting something similar to what I've seen where there's a piece of paper glued on to another paper to serve as a pocket, and the seed packet is placed in the pocket. And "grow with us" is printed on it and maybe a ribbon.   Or like the biodegradable ones you can just plant.  Also dollar tree has 4 seed packets for  $1.  Geez!

I think the idea is adorable, although you ARE looking at 4-5$ PER favor, which is pretty darn steep.

BTW, to all the people who think it's too expensive. You can source the supplies for much cheaper if you try. 

I'm thinking of ordering favors from Botanical Paperworks. They have paper that you put right into the ground. The paper has wildflower seeds inside. They come in different shapes and sizes, and they can be customized with color and an added tag with a message (you can choose the font, message, and ribbon color). And it's definitely cheaper than $4 per favor.

Very cute!  I agree though that this could be done for less money- it's not terribly different from what I'm planning and mine are definitely less.

These are absolutely adorable!   4.00 for a beautifully packaged and well thought out favor doesn't see like that much to me :-)
