This is awesome.. I am going to use this for our wedding thank you very much. You Rock. also I can make it even cheaper us old news papers for the balls and us trash ties or string even. and hot glue them on. Still awesome how ever you choose to do them..

I've been making these for my wedding and let me give you a BIG tip: don't use wire, use pipe cleaners!! They stick in the foam balls WAY better and don't come out. Also, put your hanging ribbon on before you stick the tissue paper in. Will save a ton of headaches. They come out beautifully though!

Love this project! And sooo affordable. I am making these with 5" foam balls and hanging them on 42" shepard hooks down my isle. At the back of my isle, I am using the 8 ft shepard hooks, one on each side, and hanging them. But, using this same idea, but haning three together... large, med, small and then haning ribbon from the bottom. My wedding is outdoors and this adds just the right touch!

I read this article yesterday at work, and being the creative, crafty obsessed person that I am, I just had to try it to get it off of my mind! I only bought 2 foam balls after work, in case it ended up being a disaster I wouldn't be out too much money. I got half way through the first one (my back started hurting) and OMG!! It is turning out amazing! My self cut tissue paper squares were totally not all the same size (by far) but it almost made it better! So i'm just eyeballing it and it's better than i imagined it would be! (usually things dont turn out like the picture) Thanks for the article!!!
