My roommate loves Halloween is swears she will have a Halloween wedding with a costume reception!  I say, if it fits you.. then do it!!  My wedding is set for 10-10-10!  Easy to remember!

Mine is set for next memorial day... my sister had hers a few years ago on memorial day and it worked out great.

I'm getting married on Flag Day - June 14. It's pretty much a holiday that nobody celebrates but is on the calendar. I really wanted to get married on the 14th (of whatever month) but June is the best for us because it's far enough from our birthdays and other major holidays (minus 4th of July) that we won't have to buy a zillion gifts at one time of the year - we can space them out.

My parents gopt married on April Fools day and everyone has remembered their anniversary every single year!!  SIL2B got married on April 19th and last year was their 2nd anniversary and everyone forgot- INCLUDING THE GROOM!!!!!

My wedding is 12.27 (yep 2 days after Christmas)- and we haven't heard that date being an issue for many of our guests at all. I figure that the people who would be willing to travel for the wedding will do it regardless of when the date is. And I'm good with that.

I'm getting married the day before easter--Hope that okay with everyone.

NOT!!!-I'm getting married when i want to not when the world tells me. Already I'm hearing concerns from people about it being finals month, and news raitings month...argh..people get on my nerves.

i am getting married august 20 not in any way of a major holiday except the holiday parents love the most...kids go back to school. lol

Mine is on Janurary 30th! everyone keeps saying its a weird day. o well

hmmmmmm the #13 issue...my FI and I are getting married on our 13th year anniversary. not sure if that also falls under the whole morbid catagory..oy
