I would like to know why Van Morrioson's son Brown Eyed Girl is included in this list. That's just nasty.

It's been hard for us to choose a song for this! I love "Moon River" but my dad vetoed that, but then everything he picks is too sappy (haha) or it'll be a good song but then is meant between a couple, not a father/daughter so it'd be awkward lol Hmm... We don't have a specific song with meaning to us, but I figure if you pick one new then it becomes meaningful bc that's the song you danced together to at your wedding!

My dad and I danced to Butterfly Fly Away by Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. He was opposed to the song until he heard it and really liked it. Got a couple of tears!

I'm thinking of asking my dad to dance with me to In My Life by the Beatles- it's a bit sad but the lyrics are perfect! What do you think?

My father and I are dancing to Candle on the Water from the pete's dragon soundtrack, beautiful song about always being there to be a guide and light the way.

As many father-daughter dances and songs as there are, you'd think there'd be just as many mother-daughter songs. I know some of these would work but nothing strikes me. These people always tend to forget about those of us whose fathers left before we were born!

IM suprised that "I loved her first" isnt on there. That was ours, and I've heard it at a few weddings since
