Great ideas! 

Also, when asked to see their work, don't just get absorbed in what they offer and pictures in their studio/ blog.  Look at real albums they made or even try and discuss this with brides that have worked with them before! You'll get to see the 'real dea' as I call it!

Lastly, Ask about 2nd shooters and who they are, how many pictures they take on average, do they edit all images, as well as make clear on the images and files you get.  Make sure they're high res, etc.

it would also be more convenient if your would be photographer has a partner videographer.   The negotiations will be easier.

we should have an article on what to ask after your already booked your photographer but his is good. thanks :)

I am using a photographer that has just started working with weddings, she has done two so far. I am nervous, but she is what I can afford and the photos that she has taken dont look too bad! Hope it works out!!!

I agree with the 2nd shooters!  1 photog simply cannot get EVERYTHING.  If there is a second they can be sure to get all angles of the ceremony covered.
