I'm the Mother of the Bride.  I had to chuckle just a bit.  Yes, I'm probably driving my daugter crazy...AND at times she drives me crazy...it's just the nature of our relationship!  But we're very, very close and she totally trusts me and knows that if I'm involved with planning the most important day of her life, no detail will be missed, nothing will be inappropriate or distasteful.  I have taken a load off of my daughter's back and she's appreciative.  She has a "high powered" job and not a lot of time.  And yes, I have been known to manipulate her into making the decisions I think that she should...but she doesn't know that...she always thinks its her idea!!!LOL

My dad is just having trouble letting me go! He can't believe his little girl (only child!) is all grown up. Oh, did I mention I'm 32?!? :)

yeah i cant tell you the number of times we have had an argument about the wedding that ended with someone being called a Bwitch and hanging up on them

haha i love this! I love my mommy but sometimes geesh!

i would also add that SUGGESTIONS!! my mom makes suggestions about the wedding such as favors or something and when you tell her no i like mine better she gets all pissy about it and says i dont know why i bother blah blah

Hehehe. I guess I'm lucky so far! Our families are interested in what's happening, but don't want all the little details and they don't want a say in it either. Bliss.

Actually, I am not having any problems with my mom, it's my fiance's mom! She isn't helping at all!! :(
