It really also depends. I cook alllll the time so those gadget are actually pretty useful to me, hello someone gift a mandoline please. Also if your like me and you moved into your man's place, with the intent of being married soonish after and he's not a particular guy (or in my case has mismatched towels in various shades of faded washed out black) those towels are something you look forward to, and I did and I was very very happy to recieve them, and can't wait to bring them down from jersey and use them.

FI and I both LOVE to cook so we were thrilled to receive so many kitchen items at my bridal shower and even more thrilled to receive serving dishes to put them all in.

I love linens and kitchen gadgets!  I can honestly say that I would love both a toaster oven and toaster... also, hello, PLEASE gift me an espresso machine!  And really, I'm not sure you actually can have too many nice towels and sheet sets!

I LOVE toaster ovens haha We have never had a toaster at my house....

A toaster oven can be used to make toast, but also heat small things up..when you don't need to have the whole oven on. And it really came in handy when my sister and I were young adn not allowed to use the real oven haha

This is useful! I'm struggling a bit with the registry.

Also, I found some posts and links that helped me a bit, in case anyone else is still struggling:  http://www.projectwedding.com/post/list/i-wished-i-d-registered-for

I haven't registered anywhere and we're getting married July 1st. I'm graduating June 12th and about to lose it.  We have so much stuff already, and need to do work around the house and I am just scared to accumulate more. Hoping for gift cards or cash, but don't want to expressly say that, so were just going with what happens I guess. Maybe one day soon I can register for things I KNOW we need. But that's it I think.

I registered at like 3 different places but i didnt really pick anything we needed! We've been together for 6 years and we've been living together for 5 years and 10 months so we pretty much have everything we will ever need already so it made it kinda hard for our guests to get us anything, but they can always opt for a gift card:)
